EADI Conference Geneva

June 23, 2008

Tomorrow I will fly to Geneva to present at the EADI General Conference 2008. The conference is a platform for scholars and practitioners on a broad range of topics in the field of governance and sustainable development. There are plenary sessions as well as working group meetings to facilitate all the presentations and discussions. I will be presenting within the Multidimensional Poverty working group and talk about the differences in child poverty outcomes when using a global versus country-specific child poverty approach for measurement. Although the working group is not specifically aimed at child poverty, there are some more people there working on the issue so it should lead to some interesting discussion and new ideas!
