summarizing years of work on chronic poverty

The Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC) has conducted years of interesting and very valuable research on issues around chronic poverty, mobility and poverty dynamics. The centre was founded in 2000 to address the first MDG of halving all people in poverty by 2015 through widening and strengthening the evidence base on what works and what doesn’t. A comprehensive summary with five key messages are in the report ‘Tackling chronic poverty: The policy implications of research on chronic poverty and poverty dynamics.
