stereotyping social protection

July 27, 2011

this new article by Nicholas Freeland on the Wahenga website is an entertaining read about social protection, presenting four different stereotypes around those working in the field of social protection and development. The notion of Productivists versus Ten-Percenters, Instrumentalists and Universalists may not be very nuanced, it’s not very far from the truth either. At the very least, it makes for an intersting and entertaining read and makes anyone working on this issue reflect on their own position in this.
